By blending elements of psychological thriller with dark satire, we aim to create a mirror that reflects our society's obsession with online fame—and the potential consequences of that obsession.
Visually, "Clout" draws inspiration from the precise filmmaking techniques of David Fincher, featuring a muted color palette and controlled camera work that mirrors the characters' psychological entrapment. The integration of augmented reality elements, such as floating social media feeds and geolocation markers, creates a distinct visual language that blends the digital and physical worlds.
The narrative unfolds through a mix of present-day action, flashbacks, and social media interludes, creating a multi-layered storytelling approach that reflects the fragmented nature of memory and online existence. This innovative structure, combined with the film's exploration of timely themes and its striking visual style, positions "Clout" as a unique and valuable piece of IP with potential for expansion into a feature film or series.
